Please join us in welcoming the 15th Annual Japanese Cultural Festival to Santa Fe on May 11th, 2019, at the beautiful downtown Santa Fe Community Convention Center. Doors open at 9:30 AM, with food and wares, entertainment, kid’s activities, and fun available all day till 5:00 PM. Admission is $5 per guest, with guests 12 and under being free. Cash, check, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay) will be accepted throughout the festival. Fee parking is available on-site in the parking garage located under the Convention Center (access from Federal Street).

The theme for this year is Japanese Folktales, and the wonderfully rich cultural values passed down through the ages in both oral and written traditions.

The special guest performance will be provided by David Kansuke Wheeler, Kinko style Shakuhachi Master. Come hear the timeless sound of the Japanese flute performed solo and in collaboration with local Santa Fe Artists Madi Sato (vocalist) and Tom Berkes (shamisen).
